A Historic, Chart-Dominating Year

Langley's sophomore album Dandelion didn't just debut at No. 1.  it delivered the biggest opening week for an album by a female artist in 2026, moving 169,000 equivalent units. Her lead single "Choosin' Texas" became inescapable, holding the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for ten consecutive weeks and making her the first female country artist since Taylor Swift to top both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously.

By mid-2026, Langley had become the first female artist ever to have three songs simultaneously inside the top 10 of Billboard's Country Airplay chart — a feat previously achieved only by Morgan Wallen. She also became the first woman primarily recording country music to hold the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the Streaming Songs chart at the same time.

The accolades followed the numbers. Langley took home seven ACM Awards in a single night, breaking the previous record of six. She also won Best New Country Artist at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards and was honored as Billboard's 2026 Women in Music Powerhouse.
